Communications and Media Officer
22 1⁄2 hours per week Grade 18 -23 £27,344 – £30,149 pro rata (pay rise pending), plus contribution to
the Local Government Pension Scheme.
This post holder will lead Nailsea Town Council’s communications activity, providing this forward-
thinking council with a communications plan, which they will help create and implement.
You will be working with a small Council team alongside councillors and key partners to guide all
communications activity. You will assist the council with the procurement of a brand-new website
and the management of all forms of social media, including the response made to posts.
You will have excellent copy writing skills and the ability to generate original content that is both
compelling and ‘on message’ over a wide range of topics.
This part-time role will receive appropriate training, with flexible hours.
