Annual Town Meeting
Annual Town Meeting
The Annual Town Meeting is not a meeting of the Council, it is a meeting of Nailsea civil parish electors (i.e. residents in Nailsea’s Register of Electors).
However, arrangements for the meeting are made by the Clerk. The Chair of the Council usually calls the meeting and, if present, should chair it. The law requires the Annual Parish / Town Meetings to be held between 1 March and 1 June. Nailsea holds its Annual Town Meetings on the second Wednesday in May.
Additional Town Meetings can be arranged if desired.
