Nailsea Wards & Councillors
There are 20 Town Councillors.
There are four
Councillors (or ‘Members’) in each of the five Town
Council Wards.
Town Councillors do not receive any payment for their work on the Council.
The Town has two North Somerset Council Wards,
with a
total of five North Somerset Councillors. District
Councillors do receive an allowance for their work.

Town Council Wards
There are five Town Council Wards,
each with four Town

- Golden Valley is in the North Somerset ward of Nailsea East.
- Mizzymead is in the North Somerset ward of Nailsea North and West.
- West End is in the North Somerset ward of Nailsea North and West.
- Yeo Ward is in the North Somerset ward of Nailsea North and West.
- Youngwood is in the North Somerset ward of Nailsea East.
North Somerset Council Wards
There are two North Somerset Wards in Nailsea.
- Nailsea North and West comprises the Town Council wards of Mizzymead, West End and Yeo. There are three North Somerset Councillors in this ward.
- Nailsea East comprises the Town Council wards of Golden Valley and Youngwood. There are two North Somerset Councillors in this ward.

Register of Members' Interests
All Town Councillors have to complete a Register of Members’ Interests Form every 6 months. These are available from the Town Council office.
