We have two allotment sites at Engine Lane and Whitesfield Road. Engine Lane site has 58 plots and Whitesfield Road has 137 plots. The waiting time is approximately 3 years and rent is paid annually in April each year. Allotments are allocated on a strictly first come first served basis. An application for an allotment can be made by contacting us (click here).
There are 4 main car parks in Nailsea:

The Town Council invites suggestions for its Community Award, which is given to people who have given “long and exceptional service” to the Town. The Council also has a Young Person’s Award for outstanding achievement made by people aged 25 and under. Letters nominating someone for an award, giving a description of what they have achieved and if possible providing support for the nomination from other people, should be sent to the Town Council office.
Community Trust makes grants to individuals. The Town Council is not permitted to make grants to individuals but it makes a grant each year to Community Trust in support of its work.

The Garden of Rest is managed by Dignity Funerals Ltd on behalf of North Somerset Council. The Town Council manages the upkeep of the grounds.
The Town Council awards grants to a wide variety of local organisations. Applications need to be received by the end of September in order to be considered for the next financial year, which starts in the following April. A list of the grants awarded is included in the Annual Report

- Nailsea has a Farmers’ Market on the 3rd Saturday of every month, from 9am to 1pm.
- Our Craft Market is on the 3rd Saturday from April to December, from 9am to 12.30pm. For more information on these markets, click here.
- The Country Market is
held every Friday morning from 10-11.15am at Christ Church
Vestry Hall, Christ Church Close (closed
first 2 weeks in January). Also at the Farmers' Market.
- The outdoor Tuesday Market starts at 9am in the Town Centre.

The Town Council owns Spilsbury Wood in Tickenham. It was donated to the Council by the Spilsbury family, with the objective of maintaining it for public use.
The annual Street Fair on the first Friday of December is not organised by the Council, but anyone who is interested in it is welcome to contact the Town Council office for more information.
