 PLANNING MATTERS

a)List of Planning Applications

The meeting adjourned at 7.34pm to allow residents to speak on planning application 2767/04 Elm Farm.

Mr MacMillan said he was representing many residents and handed a copy of a petition signed by 403 residents to the Clerk. He said they did not feel this was a suitable site for a supermarket and hot food takeaway so close to a residential area.  There would be an increase in traffic and rubbish and it would encourage young people to loiter.  They asked the Town Council to refuse this application and felt that the appearance with a flat roof and terracotta tiles was not in keeping with the area.

The meeting reconvened at 7.42pm
