Following the resignation of Cllr Geof Delmege there is a vacancy in the West End ward.

An election has been requested by residents, but if there is only one candidate they will be 'elected' unopposed, without an actual election taking place. If there is more than one candidate an election will take place on 16 September. The closing date for candidates to put themselves forward is 19 August.
