CONGRATULATIONS

Nailsea have won a 'Gold' award in the large towns category of the prestigious South West in Bloom 2009.  They did win Gold last year but to receive this award for the second year running is a major achievement and the Nailsea in Bloom group certainly deserve a big Thank You for ensuring the Town has looked so good again this Summer.

Well done to all those who worked so hard to acheive this award.

The Town Council has an annual award for residents who have shown 'long and exceptional' service to the community. In recognition of the contribution of young people the Council has created a new award for an individual or group of residents up to the age of 25 who have shown 'exceptional merit and endeavour'. This can apply in any field of activity.

Nominations should be made to the Town Clerk, Church House, Silver Street, Nailsea BS48 2DS.
